Blue Ice Experience - Skaftafell/Vatnajökull

On this easy Glacier Walk, you will explore the stunning Falljökull glacier tongue. Falljökull is one of the most stunning outlet glaciers extending from the mighty Vatnajökull ice cap, Europe's largest glacier.

The adventure begins in Skaftafell where you will meet your experienced glacier guide. He will prepare you for the excursion with all the necessary glacier equipment. After a short ride on the Glacier Bus, you reach the glacier. You will walk through a wonderland of glacial ice sculptures, meandering through ice ridges and the deep crevasses of the glacier. On the way, your guide will teach you all about the history and geology of the Icelandic glaciers.

After spending roughly 2-hours on the glacier, it's time to head back to Skaftafell. Don't miss out on the opportunity to visit this glacial wonderland!
